My Response to Ms. Zahra Haider

11:43:00

Dear Ms. Zahra Haider,

Today’s content hungry generation doesn’t take long to make anything viral. You knew it well. Congratulations hun. You made it, you made me read your article yesterday and made me waste 10 minutes of my life. So I thought why not waste ten more minutes to write you a reply and at least make up for it?

As I started reading your article, it didn’t take me twenty seconds to realize; ‘Oh Lord, another attention seeker, just like Taher Shah and the likes, who are very well aware of how to work people of Pakistan, and how to get famous and boost up their followers within a day.
But let me give you some good news, you made it to the top of the list of attention seekers - those whose only tactic is the very clichéd, no matter what – ‘Sex Sells’, oh I can’t begin to explain how dull that seems, but definitely worked in your interest, eh? You win girl.

I became certain about it when I visited your twitter account and found you answering every other person who have asked you about the article. Beloved, my only point is, whether you have sex or have a great oral, nobody cares. Why did you drag the name of Pakistan in it? VOILA! SO THAT PEOPLE WILL CARE! You should have titled your article as “The Pleasures I get from Sex” instead of disgracing the name of the country at the altar of your own sex-addiction.

So let’s start it in a more logical way; you have labelled the country as the highest porn watching population, by which you tried to support your horniness. But my dear, your article would have made some sense, if you really have done some research while writing your opening paragraph. You have provided the link of TRIBUNE to support your argument? Now, that’s a real joke. For your kind information, here are the actual statistics provided by google:

If you would have done even a basic research, before writing a blog full of accusations, you would have known that even Tribune refuted their own article saying the previous article mentioned incorrect statistics. Link here:

If you love having sex and showing your cleavage; do whatever you want to do man, whether in a car or hotel or even on road. But there’s something known as ‘Culture’, that you need to respect. I don’t get it why people are not able to understand the meaning of ‘CULTURE’. Wouldn’t it be awry if every country will have the same culture? If it is so, then why even the word ‘Culture’ exists? Whether you accept the culture or not, that’s is solely your problem, not country’s.  If you don’t accept it and will do as you wish, then how do you expect the country to change its culture?
It is funny how you wrote the first two paragraphs calling Pakistanis horny and then you wrote the whole article about your sex life, the dozens of time that you have had sex. This, my darling, makes you look like horny, not the nation!

Moreover, in your article you mentioned. “I have never been religious or, I’d like to think, judgmental.” This statement right here is so poisonous that it shows how narrow minded you are, clearly unknowing of what even the definition of religion is. Religion is, indeed, not how you think about others. The broad scope of aspects and perspectives that a certain religion covers, is so way beyond things - that a standard definition for religion is difficult to come up with. But I believe Wikipedia may help you a little there.

You said, you didn’t know how to masturbate when you were here? So when you moved to Canada, did everyone come and taught you how to masturbate? You should have Googled it, girl, so it might have helped the country to actually come on top of porn searchers list and had supported your first two lines.

You said, “All I wanted to be --- and what now I am – is an effortlessly confident woman in her 20s who ….” Oh okay, so does that mean being engaged in a sexual activity is what makes a woman effortlessly confident? Shit, I didn’t know that! Thank you for showing the light of wisdom to me. Now this means, all the women out there, working, doing something actually productive, being creative and thinking out of the box, should stop right now and start having sex, so that they can become AN EFFORTLESS CONFIDENT WOMAN. I could have given you some examples here, of women, who the world thinks are EFFORTLESSLY CONFIDENT; but I really believe that would just be sheer disgrace to them, if I compare them with you. So better leave it.

Next you say, “…and no longer gives a fuck about what people from back home say or think about her.” If, in this sentence, by home you meant your family; then that’s okay, I don’t care. But if you are addressing the nation again, let me inform you, people don’t give a fuck about it too. No seriously. And if you think that they do, because I am, and many others are, writing to you; it is only because we are a bunch of sensible people, living here, and we do care about the name of our country. We would have never bothered to write to you, if you have simply defined your sex addiction instead of calling the whole nation horny, to justify your own actions.

    1. I have seen girls like this and the reason they are the way they are is because they were raped or abused at a young age. Perhaps some education might be a good idea, but in the case of the abused it makes little difference. Zahra lives a very risky lifestyle and these lifestyles have certain conclusions.

  9. Okay you thrashed Zehra's article. Good job well done. I personally don't support her either but the fact that talking about sex is a taboo in Pakistan still remains the same. The fact that Pakistanis are not given sex education by their parents or in their schools and comes out to be sexually frustrated being trying wrong ways to vent out their sexual frustration still stands as a staunch truth. Firstly the children are not given sex education they do wrong things and then eventually if you don't belong to middle class or elite middle class and unfortunately happen to be a woman you're stoned to death or killed in the name of honor. This all is happening in Pakistan and it does make Pakistan a sexually repressed country.

    1. I second you Madiha.

This emotional outburst in response to the article is completely illogical. Rather than addressing a social issue, all of us seem interested in her personal life. Sex is basic, it needs to be addressed. Afterall Islam suggests the right time of marriage is when you hit puberty. Its today's economic system that keeps you from getting married. As a result, one of our basic need is being suppressed which Pakistani nation has failed to realise.

    3. Ruhal, If you will see a person naked on the road with lets say a book in his hands you will first notice his nudity before the book, because that's what he wants to show first. Similarly, if People will read an article full of someone's sex life with two paragraphs about Horny Pakistanis and few lines making some sense They definitely notice that to what their attention will be drawn.

    5. Agreed to Bushra.... People will only notice which is more emphasized and shown on a larger scale.... Like if someone writes a bad word about let say Pakistan, you will surely notice that first instead, but you will not realize what the good things are in Pakistan. Like Bushra gave an example of a Naked Man holding a Book. I think Bushra justified the things in totality and had a spoke out a great intellect here. JAZA'KALLAH Hu Khair

  13. A well written, unconfined and perfect response over ridiculous fanfiction written by skanky Zahra Haider ... There's no doubt she has shown trashiness, a scrawny and pockmarked sort of ugliness for all writers and bloggers ... I would like to appreciate bushra over such a sensible response (Y)

  15. great work bushra. happy that people still believe in respect and values. on the other hand ruhal you have brought up genuine point, i have got a suggestion, more of a focal point for the thoughts . i spent my childhood in pakistan and my prime youth in europe, and trust me guys we were chasing lactures when many were mastering the art of chasing da gals. and i have seen countless , sad drunk and heart broken gals in alleys outside pubs on weekends that it realy used to hurt.. on the other hand when i visit pakistan i cannot stand how men look at passing by gals. i think the issue is deeper than culture.. people back home need to get access to reasonable level of education. of course there are nice people in every country of the world though.

  16. I totally agree with you, Thankyou!
Whatever Zahra Haider did with those mens in Pakistan were for her own sexual pleasure! Also she mentioned she went to hotel which just shows that she was never forced into it. My point is either it's life or sex experience only talk about yourself, you don't have to target the whole nation!! Also you were 19 when you left Pakistan and moved to Canada. So, you were still too young to know your nation and the world! I'm sure you have males in your family too so think before you say something nasty in future!!

  21. Bushra Jabeen - you have said all that I had been wanting to comment (many thanks for saving my time :) on filthy life style of Zahra Haider. Only one thing if I may say. . . you were too humble addressing her as "beloved" and "dear".
Even in western societies and cultures (including some countries where "closeness" with animals is made "legal" and yet. . .AND YET, some "garbage bag" feel "proud" to live in such "liberal" countries), decency and morals are measured in modest way of life and purity in relations.
What I cannot contemplate is the crime Zahra Haider committed to her parents - I cannot imagine what trauma they had to suffer because of her "liberal" sexual desires.
And not to mention, what reasonable man would expect a family out of a "Relationship" from a woman who feels proud in publicly saying with pride of having pre-marital sex with a dozen of men in her teens (for Zahra Haider's liberal way of having a relationship is - as she say in her own words "go down" on her).
And you are so right - no one cares how she want to spend her life. . .but how dare she points her filthy finger to a whole nation - as she say, not a country of her by choice! Regardless though - Yes, like every other countries on earth, Pakistan has its problems - suffering in the hands of her few bad sons (and daughter like Zahra Haider).
